Webster Adjustment Service, LLC is an independent adjustment firm specializing in property and casualty claims on both home & business coverages, including personal article floaters within the state of New Jersey.
Webster Adjustment Service, LLC has represented over twenty insurance companies whose operating area includes New Jersey. Our primary accounts are members of the NJ Mutual Insurance Association.
Several of our clients utilize Webster Adjustment Service, LLC as their sole representative within the state of New Jersey. We have been doing business with some of our represented companies for over 35 years.
We strive to provide comprehensive insurance adjusting by utilizing current digital photography which creates computer files which can then be transmitted to the insurance company via fax, .pdf and/or .jpg files included in email attachments. We can quickly send an adjuster to an insured's location, allowing the adjuster to view the loss prior to the scene being changed, either by natural elements (e.g. evaporation) or from interference (items being moved, modified or removed). These cases can be more accurately documented by having a prompt investigation.
For losses within our area, we can arrive at a loss, take statements and photographs, return to the office, create an initial report and transmit the entire package within hours instead of days or even longer.
Our offices are fully computerized and we utilize industry-recognized computer programs to assist in creating loss reports and repair estimates of buildings, personal property, and any other covered items involved in a loss. We have a customized program, Zycomp Systems, which was developed for independent adjustment firms such as ours. We are able to produce computerized estimates utilizing a program produced and updated by the Simsol Company. All photos are digital and can be emailed with reports if requested.

Ewald H. Schulz, a member of the corporation.
Mr. Schulz resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey (Middlesex County), and maintains a branch office at that location. Mr. Schulz is a graduate of Rutgers University. He began his career as an independent insurance adjuster with General Adjustment Bureau. Mr. Schulz has additionally specialized in "Jewelers Block" losses for over 30 years.
Mr. Schulz has received basic and advanced specialized training while employed by General Adjustment Bureau and has completed numerous adjusting and appraisal courses. He has also been a certified flood adjuster.

Asside from company owner Ewald H. Schulz, we have several other qualified adjusters available in the event of a catastrophe or a serious overload.
Our Middletown Office (Monmouth County) is headed up by Mr. William Brunt, Jr. Mr. Brunt is a retired Deputy Chief Detective Lieutenant of the Middletown, New Jersey Police Department. He has experience as an electrician and self-employed contractor and he is well educated in computer science.

Our Point Pleasant Office (Ocean County) is headed up by Mr. Nick Coyle. Mr. Coyle started in the "restoration" business with Cranes Restoration in Neptune, New Jersey and he has been writing estimates for the past 20 years.

Webster Adjustment Service, LLC is a licensed New Jersey Private Detective Agency, license number 2139. Mr. Schulz has previously been accepted to testify as an expert witness on several occasions in Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex and Monmouth County Courts. We are listed in the AM Best Directory of Recommended Adjusters and have been for the past 20 years. Mr. Schulz has served as President of the Independent Insurance Adjusters Association of NJ.
Although our normal area of service includes Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties, we often travel to locations outside of the area, i.e. Bergen, Hudson and Essex Counties, as the need may arise.

History of Webster Adjustment Service, LLC
Webster Adjustment Service was originally founded over 70 years ago by Wallace H. Webster, who operated the business with his two sons. The company was purchased by Robert G. Reed in 1970. It became a partnership in 1980, and our main office was moved to 25 North Bridge Street, Somerville, NJ 08876 (Somerset County) with Ewald H. Schulz maintaining a branch office in East Brunswick, New Jersey (Middlesex County).
In July 2014, Mr. Reed retired and Mr. Schulz purchased the company. Mr. Reed remains as a part-time adjuster operating out of Flemington, New Jersey during overload or catastrophic situations. Mr. Reed specializes in farm and farm equipment losses.
Our company is well qualified and respected as an independent adjustment firm representing approximately 20 insurance companies doing business in New Jersey.
